Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Bay Area Posts: 476 iTrader: 18 / 100% Default WTT/WTS: Glock 30 - Lots of Extras. Looking for a CZ 97B, but Taking All Offers Make: Glock

Model: 30

Caliber: .45 ACP

Location (city or county): Bay Area

Price: Prefer trades, but since I have to list a price, $900 (I'll entertain offers if I do not find a trade)

Will ship (Y/N): Maybe

Other info: This Glock is quite the carry piece! Features include:

-Custom stippling (done by Glockworx I believe) -Lone Wolf extended ported barrel -Trijicon front night sight -3.5lb Lone Wolf connector bar -Glockmeister recoil spring and guide rod -five 10rd magazines -two 13rd rebuilds with sleeves -two holsters (Fobus and Blackhawk paddle) -extended magazine catch -extended slide catch -original barrel, spring, guide rod, and mag catch included as well

~230 rounds down the barrel after upgrades, ~430 rounds total. This thing is sweet, and I'd like to see some trade offers. Here is a list of firearms I am currently interested in (everything +/- cash if necessary) but I will consider any and all offers:

Handguns: CZ-97B or BD Smith & Wesson 460XVR Smith & Wesson 500

  • Any* mid to high-end 1911 (Kimber, Springfield, SW1911PD, etc)

Kel-Tec PMR-30 S&W 629 Classic

  • Any* Sig Sauer, including but not limited to: 2022, P226, P229, P250, etc.

AK pistol at pre-scare price Magnum Research Lone Eagle, caliber dependent Desert Eagle maybe

Rifles: Open to all offers (a Ruger 10/22 would be nice), but I don't want anything at “post-scare” pricing. I've given plenty of people deals on rebuilds and weapons, including the guy I traded my nicely converted Saiga to for this Glock; I do not and will not value your AR at $1000 over purchase price. I am in need of a lower or two, but I can weather the storm if nothing reasonable appears. I prefer the AK-47 and AK-74 variants anyways.

Shotguns: Only interested in home defense shotguns. Show me what you've got to replace my Mossberg 500.

I also have for trade two 33rd 9mm Glock rebuilds and other goodies.

Thanks for looking! -Frosty

Hi. Sounds great. Never used Rob before, but he is cheap and has good reviews. What's the recommended FFL Private Party you would like to use?
I won't have the cash until paycheck time... So, I could meet you on Friday the 3rd with cash. How do we proceed?

I discovered Rob while reading a thread on Calguns. He has the lowest rate ($40 + $25 DROS at the time of this review) in the area and came highly recommended. Rob was easy to reach over the phone and responds to emails very quickly. A great plus is most major online retailers have his FFL on file so there are no additional delays or work to make sure paperwork is in order.

       Hey Michael,
The Glock is actually a Gen 2. This kind of custom grip work can't be performed on the Gen 4 because of its interchangeable backstrap, and the Gen 3 tends to remain very bulky due to the extra material for the finger grooves. The palm swell was completely reworked to narrow down the grip due to the large caliber magazines, and the Gen 2 frame is ideal for this. I'm located in Mountain View, and I could meet you anywhere between us. I've never heard of Rob Blank, but as long as he's an FFL I'm fine with it. I'll CC this to your email as well. Thanks!
